How to assemble a pop up gazebo?

WITHOUT TOOLS

Easy to Set Up Gazebo

2 minutes, one or two people and a few simple steps, that's all you need. Our folding tents are quick and easy to assemble. The process is very intuitive, but if it is your first time be sure to proceed as efficiently as possible by following these instructions. Step by step, we show you how to assemble your Ecotent® folding tent in just 2 minutes, with clear pictures and videos. The best thing? The entire assembly and disassembly process is done without tools!

THE FIRST STEP

Gazebo roof installation

1 - Slightly widen the structure

2 - Position and unfold the roof

3 - Fasten the roof peak

4 - Push the gable downwards

5 - Close the Velcro strips at the corners

6 - Attach the Velcro strips to the sides

7 - Done! You can open the structure

1 - Slightly widen the structure

Extend the structure by about 1/3. To do this, grip the scissors in the middle of the roof structure; in the case of rectangular tents, grip the scissors on the short side. Caution: do not pull the gazebo legs and do not open the frame completely.

2 - Position and unfold the roof

Place the roof still folded in the centre of the structure. Then open it and unfold half of it, checking that the centre of the canvas matches the centre of the structure.

3 - Fasten the roof peak

Raise the central gable of the gazebo structure by pushing it upwards, then cross the elastic loops in the centre of the canvas and fasten them over the slots on the plastic gable hood.

4 - Push the gable downwards

Push the gable downwards, bringing it back to its original position.

5 - Close the Velcro strips at the corners

Check that the circular fabric reinforcements are exactly at the point of contact between the roof and the structure. Then close the Velcro strips around the upper part of the gazebo leg.

6 - Attach the Velcro strips to the sides

Now the sides of the gazebo must be fixed. Pass the Velcro strips through the plastic connecting elements on the sides of the structure, then bring them upwards and close them.

7 - Done! You can open the structure

Open the structure completely by gripping the central scissors, or close it again to use the tent at a later time.

How to set up the folding gazebo

1 - Unpack the folding gazebo

1 - Unpack the folding gazebo

Open the transport bag by unhooking the belt at the base and pulling off the strap, after which, open the Velcro strip and lift the bag upwards.

2 - Open the structure

Extend the frame completely in order to do this hold the central scissors (not the gazebo legs) and spread them outwards and simultaneously pull them backwards.

3 - Raise the roof

Hold the tent leg firmly with your foot and push up the corner scissors until the spring-loaded pin clicks in, repeat the same operation in all 4 corners. The roof will rise automatically.

4 - Close the roof Velcro strips

Close the Velcro straps of the roof. To do this, pass the straps, which are at the height of the valance's scissors on the four sides of the roof, under the scissor and close them upwards. Tighten the fasteners securely, so that the valance will always remain tight and no unsightly creases will form.

5 - Adjust the desired height

Lift one leg and press the spring-loaded button on it. Push the tent leg down with your foot until the spring button snaps into the desired position.

6 - Fast the gazebo to the ground

The gazebo must always be properly secured to the ground. This can be done using a fastening set consisting of straps and pegs or cast iron stackable weights.

How to close the gazebo

1 - Pull down the gazebo legs

2 - Open the roof straps and unlock it

3 - Close the frame

4 - Put the bag on

1 - Pull down the gazebo legs

Raise one leg, press the spring button on it and push the upper leg down. Repeat for all 4 legs

2 - Open the roof straps and unlock it

Open the roof straps on the four sides and fold the Velcro strips back on themselves. Then lift the corner scissors slightly and press the red button to unlock the frame and repeat at the four corners. Thanks to the smart mechanism, the structure will unlock safely without falling over completely.

3 - Close the frame

Lift the tent slightly by gripping it with the central scissors and close it by pushing inwards. Do not push the legs!

4 - Put the bag on

Open the transport bag, place it on the tent and close it by means of the Velcro strap and lower strip. To avoid stains caused by moisture, do not close the roof again unless it is completely dry!
